24fps is the cinema standard, 23.976fps is the broadcast standard held over from colour NTSC TV (I think black and white was 30 seconds).
Sound is separate (it's captured at a much higher rate), unless you're editing from different media, but adjusting to 99.9% or 100.1% brings everything into sync. As long as the work flow remains the same, there shouldn't be issues. |
