Tell me if you're so smart, how did a DDoS attack on Sony caused PSN servers to be down for months? How are you so sure it won't happened again on another company's servers like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, etc...? How do you know Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Video Prime, or any streaming service providers won't face a DDoS or a hack attack that lead to their servers being shut down for months? |

I am not giving up my discs, but Kaleidescape announced this week they are now doing rentals. Half of what you pay for the rental can get applied to the purchase of the movie if you want to buy it afterwards. Still a lot of money, still limitations on storage, and still expensive movies, but it did get slightly more interesting.

For those with immersive audio, finally watched the UHD BD of The Mask of Zorro and have to say, IMHO the uptick in the Dolby Atmos track was worth the triple dip.

USA only, was effecting video streaming, less login to people using some version of the Disney + App per Downdetector.com. Most people that reported it were from west coast and east coast USA. It was not a long lasting event, web access to content was unaffected. Fixed now. Hardly any articles on this instance.
