What do you classify as "younger?"

I actually bought something from JK earlier this year (forgot the title) and it was a smooth transaction. Too bad all this just snowballed into a terrible scam.

This is very unfortunate as it really doesn't happen here often. Most of us are good traders. I recently got ripped off on DVDtalk...I haven't been there since. I lost about $27 but it was still $27! Jester had a reputable status and great feedback...So he had it all planned out?

You don't run up 100+ successful trades just to rip someone off. My guess is that he had been considering it for a bit and did it as a lark, or maybe he realized what he could do after forgetting to send something out on time.

My thing is that with that many successful trades there has to be a lot of people with his home address information to aid in bringing law enforcement into the situation. There's no reason this guy should get away with this.

If anyone that was burned by him needs his info, I believe I saved it. I will not post it publically though.

We have made it public over there as well since he has apparently flat out screwed all of us.

He has not answered a single e-mail from me personally. We have contacted alot of people in his life and authorities as well. There is no doubt that this was a scam and not a personal issue such as health, etc.

This is one of the reasons why I never buy anything from individuals off of the internet and why I rarely use ebay these days too. You just never know...

great mentality, It could happen anywhere at anytime. Classifying people here or the 'internet' as thieves isnt cool either. Do what you feel is safe, but If I can save 10.00 a movie over retail thats where I am at. There are safeguards, use them

Obviously cause he is a scammer !
Anyways at this point I'd say to bd.com to be careful that he does not just open another account and start all over. You should have his IP or something, not sure how that works.

This is why I'm glad to be a bit paranoiac. It's an inner safeguard. I mean I remember the first time I bought from Amazon.com which is totally reputable It was a small purchase and I was like nervous and stuff. After that It's only been Amazon since it all went well. (Not saying other reputable sources are bad but with my paranoia, don't wanna go again through the being nervous process of the first purchase)

I never buy from Ebay or the likes cause I fear exactly what happened here. Also I don't have a credit card and don't want one cause as I understand it, once you purchase with it, they have your number so they can 6 months later scam you. (not saying they will, just my safe paranoia).

We do and if he does, it will be handled. I highly doubt anyone will send him anything cuz if someone says they are keith Robertson that should grabs someones attention.

Heck another member named jester signed up and a member pmed me making sure he wasnt the same guy, so people keep an eye out for each other

Wow. I remember Jester... That's such a bummer... I mean, he seemed like a good guy. He must have really needed the money. That sucks that he pulled a scam on the innocent though...

wow, traded with him a few times and bought from him and he bought from me a couple times!

It was pretty good experience. Super fast shipping etc.

He must have something that came up and really needed some money..

I must have been out of loop for too long.
