I couldn't help thinking what a great 4K HDR this would make. So I recommend getting the Australian blu-ray; the only annoying thing is a couple of frames where they failed to remove the German subtitles (poor checking/quality control there) but they're gone in a flash. So I presume that the German and Aus versions are exactly the same, though the Aus one has subtitles removed.

I have the Australian version but it unfortunately has two quick flashes of German. One is an early scene where it flashes onto the screen, “Zwei Jahre Später” (two years later), & the other is just a moment where Gere looks at a newspaper clipping, & the headline pops up in German. That’s it.

This is being re-released on the new Australian Imprint label in March. I hope it's at least a newer scan, and not an older scan made for DVD.
