Our defense would still be at a Pop Warner level tho so it would just be more of a shootout with you guys

Random rumor of the day... Andrew Luck will come out of retirement now that his mind and body are in a better place... and also because the Colts are contenders now.

You dont ever really know what a person is thinking but to me he seems like the kinda guy that the way he quit & the reaction from almost everyone is just eating away at him everyday.

I dont know if i could enjoy retirement living like that.

The only reason he has said passing yards is because of no run game.
Wow.

A lot of Stafford slander going around. I’m just going to sit back and watch him tear it up with the Rams.

The one stat that stood out to me about Matthew Stafford was his record against Winning Teams (teams that ended their season with a winning record)

Matthew Stafford career vs winning teams: 9-54

It's a team game, so the sole onus is not on him...but it maybe a telling stat.

That being said, if the Chiefs did not have Mahomes, I would like to have Stafford on the Chiefs roster.

Would happily take Stafford over Wentz. They have the same playoff record anyway.

Are wins a QB stat? I know it’s the endless debate, but I am very eager to see what Stafford looks like with a coach that schemes well and a talented offense around him.

They are when you look at the amount of INT he threw in those games against winning teams which led directly to 10 point + differences which always led to Detroit playing from behind. I have nothing against the guy personally and I don't believe Goff is the future either but at this point Stafford is not leading Detroit to a SB it was never going to happen. best thing he did for the team is wanting out and them getting multiple first round picks for him.

Guys got a cannon for an Arm but he has the same issue Brett Farve did he has no touch on his passes. He cant do what Brady and others do and float the ball into the arms of receivers. Everything is a rocket to the receiver hence the look of Calvin Johnson's hands and fingers today.

But as i mentioned according to the updated super bowl odds they are a contender so not sure what you mean:

kc +575
gb +900
tb +1,100
lar, bal, buf +1,200
That's the thing - I actually love that they're trying. They've not only leveraged the future, my Rams are now fully in deep. I don't think even half of the NFL teams in 3 or 5 year rebuilds ever really work out to the playoffs let alone a superbowl.

I'm just not sure how it improves the team that much. I guess I don't see it or fully understand it.

I guess it is all or nothing, imo they still need to get a few other free agents if possible to be in the realm of the Chiefs, they might as well go for broke because their future is going to be reliant entirely on later round picks to mitigate their spending sprees here.

They do tend to do the whole stars and scrubs approach to roster construction. (Probably due to their lack of early round picks)

Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale flew into Colorado late last night and wagered $3.46 MILLION on the Bucs +3.5.
