She'd be good but Wolvie needs rebooted actorwise.

I’d like to see a mashup of all properties.

Like give us some
[Show spoiler]X-Men Legacy actors mingling with First Class X-Men and entirely new MCU members of X-Men.

[Show spoiler]I'm not upset by it, it's just not a road I feel they should go down. Plus there's the obvious aging issue that Fox had. Nobody aged from First Class in 1962 to Dark Phoenix in 1992, yet McAvoy and Fassbender were to become Stewart and McKellen within the next 8 years. When Peter, who wasn't from Sokovia and didn't have a twin sister, was introduced in 1973 he was at least 16-20 and with the added 5 year time jump with the blip, he'd at least be in his 50s. And Logan takes place even more in the future than the MCU currently is... so the timelines just don't make sense even for MCU.

If they want to use the "good talent in the Fox cast" then cool, bring them on as new characters, start fresh with the franchises and do them correctly. Don't look back to move forward, save the multiverse stuff for some special stunt event but don't bring them on permanently.

Yes, this multiverse thing will only be temporary. But when it reverts back to the MCU proper, I suspect there will be permanent changes, like the existence of mutants. I do think anyone from the FoX-Men universe that shows up during this multiverse event will still be recast when the event is over, except maybe Deadpool.

[Show spoiler]Who cares about the X-Men timelines. If they are going into changing reality and the multiverse, it doesn't matter. They can do whatever they want.

All that X-Men timeline stuff can be explained away via the idea of a multiverse.

Everyone hoping for a multiverse of madness but I bet it’ll just be quick snippets like End Game.

I mean it is funny how Marvel has everyone reading too much into everything. Especially since
[Show spoiler]J.K Simmons return as J. Jonah Jameson was pretty much forgotten.
.

But sure, this means big things for Sony’s Spider-Man 3. Oh, yeah, I know Marvel is involved too but Sony gets the lion’s share: merchandise, home video, promotion. Wait. Out of all the references, none are made to Spider-Man or the events in Homecoming and Far From Home. Even the End Game mentions leave him out. Where are the subtile hints leading to that reveal?

We got Woo’s voice, SWORD drone with Iron Man colors, a beekeeper. Oh wait, they refer to the blip. Yep. That’s the biggest one.

You know instead of realizing Wanda’s magic combined with Doctor Strange could do some damage to the Avengers. Mayhaps, Mephisto is using her to draw out Strange.

I personally find the idea of a multiverse a cop-out.

The art of the MCU, the achievement of MCU, the ambition of MCU, is being able to tell such an interconnected tale of so many superheroes across so many movies and have it all still line up and be coherent.

Multi-verse is basically anything goes. Do anything, make any change with any character, and call it a multiverse.

It reduces the stakes for me. Nobody dies. Everybody can come back. Everything can be undone. Everything can be reversed. Just go to a different universe.

It's a business bud lol same way it was for the comics when they've all died 20+ times in different instances.

You really think if the MCU faltered or fell out of favor and Disney knew in 10 years they could multiverse Robert Downey Jr back and make billions again they wouldn't?

personal preference is fine but remember this is about making money lol

Elizabeth Olsen is a knockout in eighties fashion. Mind blown by the end. Loving this series.

It being a business does not prevent me from not really liking it all that much.

Marvel has my good will. They mostly put out good quality stuff. I am willing to give them a shot. But I am cautious and not all in on the idea.

They have already introduced time travel and characters have been brought back that were dead outside of the blip.

So, I don't see how the introduction of the multiverse really makes that much of a difference.

It just opens up more opportunities for storytelling.

Also, having stakes doesn't always mean characters dying or massive destruction.

And even if something can be undone or reversed, it can be great if it is done well.

They get money from the Spider-man movie merchandise by extension of the Marvel license. Sony still gets the money then pays Marvel their cut which then goes to Disney.

But unless Disney is selling it themselves like the themepark merchandise, they aren’t getting a full cut.

Source?

Disney owns Spider-Man merchandising rights since 2011.

It's true. Sony lost the merchandising rights to Spider-Man years ago. Which is one of the big factors as to why Spider-Man is in the MCU in the first place. Because the deal is, Sony keeps all of the box-office numbers, while Disney keeps all of the money they make out of the merchandise.
