Disney+'s - WandaVision (Season 1)

This series hasn't done much for me yet other than provide some light entertainment. I'm hoping Episode 5's reveal isn't the big one they've been hyping.

[Show spoiler]Not really a fan of the actor nor the implications of the Fox stuff. Hopefully they'll bring the other one back for a cameo too.

But it seems the series should ramp things up fairly soon.

If the stone exists on the show it is not the actual stone, since everything in the hex is distorted reality. There was an episode of Next Generation where they made a lab in the holodeck. It was made to function like the real lab, so drew outside radiation. Since you have made possibly a fake stone, it is pulling the radiation from the real stone.

I do remember and also thought somewhere in one of the movies a character said the stones can't be destroyed. So...

honestly, I'm kinda hoping we're done with the Stones.

There's so many other good devices they can go to now, not everything needs to involve the stones.

Yeah I agree, like I said a bit ago it would be too soon to go back to that again.

This episode was so great, Olsen deserves an Emmy nomination...she's so good.

I do have a question though.

[Show spoiler]Why didn't they bring back ATJ as Pietro? I know Darcy spoke the line "She recast Pietro?" but I'm confused why the real Quicksilver couldn't be back.

[Show spoiler]The theory is: because Wanda can't bring the dead back to life, she pulled an alternate version of Quicksilver from an alternate universe, hence the first sign of the multiverse.

Loved her interaction outside the town, simultaneously manipulated multiple soldiers to repoint weapons. How can anyone take her on?

Keeping up the World needs a lot of power, so Wanda has problems to let the other keep Character all the time
I think all people just were in that area when the wall came up. Under the Dome style.

I don't think that was the big reveal. the big character reveal is supposed to show up in a big "Luke Skywalker in Mandalorian" type moment. This latest reveal from episode 5 feels more along the lines of like the Ashoka reveal.

Paul Bettany stated 2 things:

1. It's an actor he's always wanted to work with
2. They will share a very tense scene

It leads me to believe that it might be a villain, and to me, that points to Ian Mckellen as Magneto.

Patrick Stewart showing up as Professor X would be huge also. But those are the only 2 guys that i can see being the equivalent as a "Luke Skywalker in Mandalorian" type moment.

[Show spoiler] All of the stones were replaced by Steve at the end of Endgame. I don't think they're going to go there though because it's too soon after Endgame to be going back to Infinity Stones.

In the past, yes, the Infinity Stones are in existence, though the current present day time of being in the now, they have been destroyed.

No not really. I think he is alive because of Wandas Magic. I never cared much about Vision. I am asking more myself how X-Men Quicksilver comes there and not MCU Quicksilver. There were several articles published in January 2020 which stated that Patrick Stewart had declined an offer from Kevin Feige to reprise his Professor X role in an unspecified future Marvel project. I doubt he's the major cameo...but it does lend support that we are going to get an X Men/Avengers Universe mashup as a result of some unknown multiverse event. That's all speculation...but Wandavision does seem to be heading in that direction even though a lot of details about how and who is behind all this have yet to be revealed.

I like the suggestion that the major cameo and "dream actor" might be Ian McKellen as Magneto! That would be pretty cool.

So not sure if it was here or elsewhere. But it was stated that SWORD had better tech than Stark. They had Vision body and had to have experimented on him. Which would give them Stark tech. Also Monica mentioned that they have changed their mission statement from space and exploration to ground. Which also would be why SWORD has changed from.
Sentient World Observation and Response Department to
Sentient Weapon Observation and Response Department.

So more than likely they are copying Stark Tech, which could be a lead in to Armor Wars.

i have seen going around the net the belief that

[Show spoiler]being forced through the barrier around the town once going in and once going out with the second trip encapsulated by Wanda's magic is how Photon either gets her powers, or gets her latent powers awaken.

if it's the prior, does that mean the SWORD guy in the environmental suit who went into the town through the sewer and crossed the barrier potentially gets some kind of power? remember, we don't yet know what happened to him when Wanda "NO'd" his ass and rewound the scene. where the hell is that guy?!?

perhaps you'll have to wait a couple more episodes like us to see if they give that reason; we do have to let the story play out. that was just one episode. i also want to know, but, we know two things, Wanda is going to be in the Dr Strange movie titled The Multiverse of Madness and we know that Marvel/Disney has the rights to all the Fox characters of that were licensed to them from Marvel and wants to slowly at some point bring them into the MCU proper.

That is a good question. I would assume he is part of the cast now, we just have not seen him yet.

For the Photon powers yes I agree on that is how she gets her powers.

Three things as the new "Spider-Man" movie is dealing with the multiverse, too, and will also involve Doctor Strange.
