Hall of Fame class looks good. Season awards look good (can't believe Smith wasn't unanimous, though). Wentz trade looks good, just wonder who that extra player is gonna be; I've read Cohen but I'd prefer a receiver, even one of Chicago's lower-tier guys would be good for us.

Smith's stats were mediocre so I would've given it to someone else, imagine Dak will win it this year though. Imagine if the receiver is Allen Robinson, that would make Hurts quite happy.

Updates on Britt Reid Crash involving 5 year old

The 5-year-old child severely injured in a vehicular crash involving Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach Britt Reid remains in critical condition, police said Saturday.

The child suffered life-threatening injuries Thursday night after the pickup truck Reid was driving slammed into two vehicles parked at the side of Interstate 435 near the Chiefs’ practice facility. A 4-year-old was also injured in the collision and suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Reid, an outside linebackers coach and the son of Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, was also hospitalized with undisclosed injuries, ESPN’s Dianna Russini reported.

A GoFundMe page, verified to the Kanas City Star by a company spokeswoman, was set up on behalf of the severely injured child by a relative. According to the page, the crash victim “suffered swelling in the brain and bleeding around her brain, she hasn’t woken since the crash.”

Police are investigating Reid for suspicion of driving under the influence. Reid, 35, told authorities that he had two or three drinks that evening, according to a police report.

The Chiefs flew to Tampa, Florida, on Saturday, one day before Super Bowl LV. The team hasn’t made a statement since Friday, when it offered “thoughts and prayers” with everyone involved in the crash.

The Britt Reid story is awful. Not sure of all the facts yet but if he's truly responsible for all this, he deserves to be punished to the full extent of the law. Hope the kid pulls through with as little lasting damage as possible. Horrible situation.

Given it to someone else? He nearly had his leg amputated and had 17 surgeries on it.

Hurts gonna be the starter? Don’t get me wrong I love the guy. But his passing skills need a lot of work. His toughness can’t be beat though.

Its a very tragic situation. I have a 5 year old myself and I cant even imagine what that family is going through right now. The one thing the story does not need however is opinions until all the facts are released which is what someone was doing previously.

Not if you're a Bears fan.

If they gave Mooney, the lone bright spot this season on offense, pretty sure the town would revolt on the team. Pace and Nagy are already hated, and I'd say judging from the comments, about 80% of the fans are against Wentz coming to the Bears.

If I had to guess, it's probably Anthony Miller, who was supposed to be a solid #2 WR, but he needs to grow up in the worst way.

I am hearing the Eagles are sending Went + a pick, but have no idea what round/year that pick will be from. Probably to help the Bears deal with his salary.

He's a free agent. Bears never bothered to sign him.

No unfortunately we have no sports book here yet in my state. So all those great tips dcowboy gives us, I cant take part in.

Even though I have an mgm casino literally 10 minutes from me, and then can go buy a bag of hippy lettuce if i want to, I cant access any sports book apps where I live. Maybe there is ways around it but I am happy enough running my own at my work, and have a couple others I have bought into. Also getting in some fandual and draftking lineups for a little extra interest.

"Looks good" speaking purely as an Eagles fan I don't blame 80% of Chicago for not wanting Wentz.

Miller sounds good, I'd be happy to get him. I assume the pick we give up will be either this or next year's second-rounder.
