Wanda has become of the most fully developed and deeply explored characters in MCU.

I think even Tony and Cap haven't had this much character development even though they both have the highest screentime in MCU. I feel we have never burrowed deep into the to see what makes them tick the way we have into Wanda.

Who would have thought when we first saw a glimpse of Wanda in the post credits scene in Winter Soldier that she would go on to become one of the great characters of MCU.

[Show spoiler]I think so, too. The JARVIS part of his persona likely "died" with Vision in Endgame... so Hayward may have just resurrected Ultron.

What if Pietro somehow leaves the Hex?

Agatha confirmed that he is fake Pietro right?

So I would guess he is an ordinary Westview citizen?

He was Agatha's mole. But his powers were given by Wanda.

So I think fake Pietro is an ordinary human being outside the Hex.

I know S.W.O.R.D. was trying to study Vision's body from earlier in the season, but I didn't know that they'd go as far as
[Show spoiler]to basically make it a version of the VisionQuest storyline. Wow, when I saw "white Vision" I couldn't believe it. I wonder now if he's going to turn to his villainous side aka Ultron or just be a clean-slate Vision like in the comics where his memory and emotions are wiped.

I'm just still shocked, this show is honestly an incredible win for Marvel fans.

So, I’m entirely up to date and I’m finding the series a bit of a mixed bag. Certainly the most offbeat of Marvel’s endeavours to date, but it’s also the first to entirely drop the pretence of ‘newcomer’ friendly and entirely based around in-knowledge and gags for the fans (probably most egregious is Evan Peters “guest” appearance).

That’s not to say I’m entirely down on the series as a whole, it’s a lot of fun and it’s especially been fantastic at doing the different era’s of sitcoms, whilst achieving to balance it’s larger sci-fi/fantasy tale tonally (if there’s anything Marvel are able to do is bring the right tone to their projects). Obviously the major props goes to Christophe Beck’s wide arrayed score and Jess Beck’s fluent cinematography, as well as the production design for it’s really great attention to detail. I kinda wish the series had more to say about the sitcom style outside of the obvious Stepford Wives-esque “Idyllic setting hiding dark under belly” vibes. I guess you could make the argument that behind the comfort of television lies real trauma and through Wanda we see how each era of television has sort of changed and even uncovered what it was built to suppress, to the point where they’re almost hand in hand. But then that kinda washes away when it’s given an internalised logic in the eighth episode, which pays off a lot of small visual details from earlier in the series, pretty much reiterates everything the audiences has already gathered prior.

Which is sort of my main issue of the show, it is so engrained in mystery and what’s going on, it almost feels more like a web series with it’s various quirks and playing towards fan theorising, than a fully fledged show of it’s own. The first three episodes don’t even really have a hook outside of “something weird is going on”. And for the MCU’s (we need to change that abbreviation now btw) first television endeavour, it’s awfully hooked into that three act structure despite having such distinctive divisions in episodes. It’s not me saying it’s a dreadful series, quite on the contrary, but it just feels hollow where I really thought this was gonna be a proper breakthrough for the franchise into more interesting territory. 6/10 so far depending on which way the finale goes.

[Show spoiler]Surprised you were surprised. It seemed like this was the direction they would go from the moment we saw SWORD was in possession of Vision.

I fully expect this to end with Wanda transferring her Vision’s consciousness into the White Vision. I also don’t think white Vision will be a blank slate per se, or even Ultron, I think he will be like a Terminator in that they’ve programmed him to essentially be an emotionless soldier. Which will likely lead to a Vision vs Vision face off before Wanda steps in.

Guys.

It was made clear that
[Show spoiler]Agatha used necromancy to bring to life a random Westview citizen. She even said Wanda was so distraught that she believed it to be Pietro. When really it was 🎶Agatha All Along🎶

This is nothing more than the same plot mechanism used in WW84 that had Diana imagining some dude to be Trevor.

Wrong. She specifically states she used a basic possession spell. She never said who she possessed or where she found him. This is sure to be answered next week.

I was surprised more so with the reality of actually seeing
[Show spoiler]White Vision
on-screen. I mean, let's be real half of the stuff they pick from comics we never expect to actually see in live-action form until it happens. It gets better and better every time for us fans, even the massive Endgame battle was just a spectacle of stuff you still couldn't believe was actually happening before your eyes.

I should've rephrased as "taken aback by".

It definitely amazes me how they continue to give me serious tingles at all stuff we get. For me the bigger moment was seeing
[Show spoiler]Wanda’s full Scarlet Witch form at the Hydra base. The fact we’re actually going to get a comic accurate look with the headpiece outside of just a Halloween costume is pretty amazing.

That had me, too. And of course
[Show spoiler]Agatha FINALLY giving Wanda a proper name-drop as S.W. I'd been waiting for that since 2015.

[Show spoiler]I hope her headpiece isn't an actual piece of clothing but formed out of her chaos magic, Wanda gets real, out comes the Scarlet crown lol

What a phenomenal episode wow. Almost close to calling this the best MCU content I’ve ever seen personally. Olsen is a superstar.

I could definitely see
[Show spoiler]her new costume being formed from her powers and not any sort of clothing like a normal super suit.
