Chaos Magic
Chaos Magic is the name of a magic so powerful that it was thought to be non-existent by even the Sorcerer Supreme himself.[1] This magic can manipulate, warp and reconstruct the very fabric of existence and reality to the user's very whims and bring about total destruction to the cosmos.

Long ago, the Elder God and Arch-Demon Chthon used Chaos Magic to rule the Earth as the "God of Chaos". However, Earth's Mages got together and ended his reign with a lie: They said "There is no God of Chaos. And there is no Chaos Magic."

Chthon would later be sealed within Mount Wundagore, the future birth-place of Wanda Maximoff. The newborn Wanda would be touched by the hand of the degenerate Elder God Chthon, which would leave her with a fraction of his power that would let her control Chaos Energy and alter reality itself beyond recognition. Without Chthon's intervention, Wanda's mutate powers would have instead manifested as simple energy manipulation.

Under the tutoring of Agatha Harkness, Wanda would later go on to learn to harness this mystic Chaos Energy as Chaos Magic (without knowing its true name at first) and use it to a variety of effects beyond the simple Hexes which she innately performed with it previously.

I Googled it and the whole thing is only 6 months old so excuse the **** out of someone from Texas not knowing about it. It seemed like an Easter egg because that's always how Stan Lee signed off.

Best episode thus far. I became very attached to Wanda straight of the bat in AoU. Just really enjoyed her character arc. Probably more because of how Olsen has played the character. I'm loving her journey throughout the MCU but this episode especially hit the right notes emotionally. And to me, that has been her best moments. The emotional ones. In Civil War and Infinity War especially. So I love seeing that here.

I definitely think they are insinuating that Wanda is a mutant. She already had powers when she was young and turned off the bomb. As Agatha said, the Mind Stone only amplified the powers she already had.

I never thought about it until now, but her connection to Vision was clearly influenced by her connection to the Mind Stone on his head.

But besides being a mutant whose powers were enhanced by the Mind Stone, Agatha also says she knows what she is and that's "The Scarlet Witch," so there's obviously something more yet to be revealed about Wanda and that title.


I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that Agatha, who is a real witch from the 1600s, may know about mutants, but in her time they were called "Witchbreed." The Scarlet Witch title may originally have something to do with that group.

Are people going to be upset if the big bad is simply . . . Agatha? No one else pulling the strings but short and simple, Wanda finding her way back to reality and Agatha is trying to prevent it?

John Campea disagrees. He thinks she ain't a mutant because they say she is a witch. Which is ****ing stupid because I don't think people know what a mutant is yet in the MCU. I swear, Campea brings out the inner ego in me. I don't like thinking I'm smarter than the another person, but Campea, you're ****ing stupid. And you're suppose to be the boss of your own brand.

i mean, what a great episode, i sat quietly with the cat watching and was damn near unable to speak, blink, hell, i'm lucky i remembered to breath!

[Show spoiler]watching tv with her parents and the bomb went off, i did say out loud holy shit, like out loud the cat was about to run as i was loud and the blast was very loud!

i want Wanda going forward to be

at least until the finale, so many fan theories went to shit tonight! but, we have to wait until the mid credit scene next week to be sure what is what. we all know how Marvel is!

Campea has been a full on idiot. His insistence of Feige's no X-men for 5 years rule (which was never said, only that he plans at least 5 years ahead) and claiming every week "confirmed that Evan Peters is not from the Foxverse!", it's like he watches in hopes that his theories and no one else's are right.

[Show spoiler]the military dude (Hayward?) seemed to be the one to plant the idea in her head to just bring vision back to life. That conversation felt pretty weird and like a hint. Might be looking into it though.

I like John's work. Not sure why people would be upset about it. Maybe no more 3.5-hr. episodes....good Lord, who has that kind of time....that's really my only grief with him.
