So i got a copy from you know who and the quality was great but the subtitles were flickering around from left to right about 50 times a second . Anyone know if i can rectify this and steady the subs ?
Yes, make it yourself. I have to render all my subs as bitmaps so I can set the depth (I can pick if I want them to come out of the screen, be pushed back etc... once they are bitmaps). Using TXT subs is a bad idea as you've experienced. I guess whoever authored your disc doesn't understand that and used txt based subs instead

This is my next skill to learn .. subtitle remux. I don't want to avoid non-English movies if there a skill I can apply to remedy it.
