I'm loving Paramount's commitment to physical media. This is an old favorite.

I was hoping for a 20th anniversary release this year. But I have a bad feeling this will be yet another Paramount catalog title that doesn’t get a release here in Canada (we’ve missed out on a lot lately).

I know a lot of people have been asking for this one for awhile. Seems like they are focusing a bit more on their comedies.

These releases have been pressed and wide releases; recently Popeye, She's the Man, etc.

MOD doesn't automatically mean BD-R, plenty of MOD titles are pressed, it's just BD-R when the company wants to be cheap.

However, Rat Race doesn't show up on moviezyng.com so I'd assume they're traditionally pressed/released.

Very pleased with this news. I definitely wanted this one on Blu-ray really bad. Definitely a day 1 purchase! Glad it's finally happening, yay.

It's probably been since the mid-2000's since I've seen this. I remember liking it quite a bit, so I can't wait to revisit it when it comes out finally.
