I'm guessing that if BvS had a scene where Batman says "I don't kill" you'd explain to me that the people he ran over were killed by his batmobile and not him.

Amazing that comic fans accept Tony Stark's motivations stemming from taking personal responsibility for the deaths caused by weapons his company manufactured (Deaths that are several steps removed for him), because Tony Stark says he's responsible, but then bend over backwards trying to say that Batman doesn't kill people despite killing people, because Batman says he doesn't kill people.

Ratner is an hack, but i do enjoy Red Dragon and the first Rush Hour film. Yet, he is to blame for one of the worst comic book (and not) films ever made, X3.

Manhunter really lacks Hopkins' presence, but i did enjoy Hannibal. The only thing that i didn't like was the re-cast of Jodie Foster, while being hotter , Moore did not play the part very well, even though I think that Moore is recently giving better performances than her with Magnolia, Boogie Nights, Still Alice and something else i am forgetting for.

I did really enjoy the scene where Oldman's character, gets thrown with the pigs (was that?) anyways, why it is your favorite if i can ask?

Tony Stark is a watered-down version of Robocop, and an actual warmonger that acts like a prick in comics. He's a full villain in the Civil War comic and has caused many civilians (and not) death in the MCU.

Batman's "issue" is indirectly tied to him.

I've already explained the context and why i'm ok with these two scenes.

That's a weird way to rank things...

Ratner is the worst. I want a Milli Vanilli movie, just not from him.

I'm basic when it comes to Harris' adaptations but what the hell.

Hannibal (tv) > Silence > Manhunter > Hannibal > Red Dragon > Rising

I like PSH, a lot, so that's why RD wins out a bit more than the insanely odd Rising.

Hopkins > Mikkelsen > Cox > Whatever was the dude who portrayed him in that atrocious prequel.

Note: I like how some people have this vendetta against Nolan just because he's a "rival" to their favorite companies and directors. The thing it matters is that these films and Nolan will go down in history as solid, and to have reasonated a lot of people despite the hate people give to them.

Totally agree with that ranking, but swapping Manhunter with Hannibal.

Actually been re-watching the series this week and just once more in awe of how it ever got made and released for primetime television, period.

It's an operatic fever dream. We don't get risky big budget films like that anymore.

Wrong.
It's only cause you won't shut up about him.

Ooh yikes. The Anti-Nolan brigade is here.

Catwoman > Avengers: Infinity War.

Nolan destroys anything the most overrated company of all-time has ever put out, in any form of medium. Whatever is Claremont, Russos or Netflix, Nolan always triumphs anything Marvel has ever done, easily and forever.

Comic Movie > Dune > Inland Empire > Eraserhead > Blue Velvet.

Tyler Perry is a better director than David Lynch.

Thank you but I'm afraid I don't have to time at the moment to talk about Mr. Nolan.

It's clear as day that after not liking the Batman films, most of the haters are going to hate on anything he does, mostly because he threatens the "Happy Madison Of Superheroes or because they do not like his fans.

That's why there is some bizzarre hatred with some people with an unreasonable hate against a director. Someone they don't even know, or his fans.

I'll never understand why people see don't subscribe to forums for films they like and want to read/discuss with others.

Meanwhile they hate with their purely subjective opinion, just to bash the director itself.

Derek Jarman’s Blue has more visually interesting camera work than anything Nolan has sharted out.
