It sure isn't the same Energy 10-inch MPP woofer with their patented Ribbed Elliptical Surround. I just visited the Speaker Company. I can see clearly in the photo that it isn't the ribbed elliptical surround used in the Energy ESW-10. In fact, the surround on the ASW -10 doesn't even appear to be ribbed. It's a different sub for sure.

If the OP is wants the ESW-10, then he should get a genuine Energy ESW-10, not an imitation like the ASW-10.
