Picked up the Tati reissue, and Overdrive.
Why Overdrive gets such hate I don't know. What were people expecting? It's a perfectly passable piece of Euro vroom vroom, boom, boom, and at 2 quid new as well.

My initial curiosity for checking it out given, was, that some people claim it looks like faux HDR...emm no...absolute nonsense. There is some truth in that a film bleached in sunlight films can have more pop, and yeah it does pop. But this is nowhere near a Zulu, which is a 2K SDR presentation you could argue looks UHD like. But for those that do think Overdrive looks UHDish, you must be doing proper HDR seriously wrong.

The thing that actually impressed me the most was the sound mix. There is a lot, and I mean a lot of bass. So I'd definitely recommend it to anyone that has some quality subs they want to flex.

My first proper post-Brexit order arrived today. It's smaller, more expensive, and running late, but the fun doesn't stop there! First, the good stuff.




I also received another item, but it was not new, as the eBay listing claimed, but blatantly used, and not in a particularly good condition. And then there's this:






I was looking forward to this SO MUCH, and then it arrives strangely warped like that. To make matters worse, it doesn't appear that the damage occurred during transport - the box was well wrapped in bubble wrap, and the deformations are not consistent with any transport dents that I've seen before. Instead, it looks like Anime Limited sent it this way. Yeah, I don't get it either. Of course, the return period has already passed...

They should help you out, returns have been extended in most cases, I'd give them a email.

Well, Anime Limited responded to my complaint, and they'll sort it out, even though it's outside of their return period. That's really nice of them, great customer service!

I've got the 2014 release . Not a fan of the packaging with flimsy slipbox and elite case looks kinda cheap so planning to get this re-release.

Is that slipbox a sturdy one? listing image has black elite cases ! Would you mind posting more pics please?
