Default Batman vs Superman downgraded

All, anyone else have a Batman vs Superman downgraded from 4k to HD with the recent artwork change? I have the ultimate version and when they changed the artwork it went from 4k to HD. Booo.

its being upgraded to the new IMAX version, it will restore to 4K once its ready. This is how they always do upgrades, reverts to HD and then changes back once done.

Has already been discussed in the 4K HDR thread If you press pause then scroll through the time bar you can see the aspect ratio changes when the IMAX scenes appear.

Wow, Gonzo...the extra height on the "Knightmare" sequence looks fantastic!
Thanks for uploading that screenshot.

Personally,

I would prefer they did the downgrade when they were all ready to apply the upgrade. How difficult would it be to leave something till the next thing is ready ? ... I think it should take a day at most.

With iTunes you get to watch their copy. Get used to not having any control over it.

Why is it taking so long, though, is my question. My sister wanted to watch BvS: UE the other night, and it wouldn't even load. She had to login to my HBO Max to watch it.

As a wild guess I’d say because the release date isn’t until the 18th, worse case scenario is it’s being held back until the physical release on March 23rd.

I'd like to see it upgraded by recasting the scenes of Jesse Eisenberg and new CGI of "Baby Abomination" Doomsday.

IMAX scenes upgrade applies to Theatrical as well. Right? I don't own the Theatrical in 4K, I will purchase from iTunes if that's the case.

If the theatricals got it too then that’s great for those that prefer that version.
