Sorry that I misunderstood your post, I haven't seen the movie myself either and I thought you were speaking from watching the movie yourself.

Nah, Haven't seen it yet, and I've been trying to stay away from spoilers, so if any of my wishful thinking comes to pass, it's totally coincidental.

I think it would have been fitting if Kong actually won the fight in this movie, just so he could have one more movie to close out his own trilogy.

i mean they could continue monsterverse with kong and make up some new monsters insted of toho

Welp, since some people don’t know how to use the spoiler tag (unintentional as it may have been), the film has now been ruined for me. I’ll still go see it, but the experience of seeing who wins is ruined.

I have been looking forward to this ever since it was announced. Tried my best to avoid spoilers. Went so far as to only watch the first trailer. Almost made it.....but alas.....spoiled nonetheless. My fault for reading this board to begin with. I should have known better.

I guess I’m not surprised who won. I expected it (bogus as it is). Still....I was hoping the writers would “do the right thing.”

I doubt it will be. The reception and buzz this film is getting will breath new life into the monsterverse.

I'm gonna be completely honest. I re-read it like 3 times. It definitely reads like you watched the movie and are commenting on the movie...not speculating.

I don't know who wins. I clarified what I said with a follow-up post. If you stopped reading, that's your problem.

Here, I'll change the questionable word that could be viewed as a spoiler in my original post to "wins" instead of "won." I hope this helps understand what I was trying to say. Like I said, I haven't seen this film, so I don't know who won.

I just did. read my previous post again.

I see people posting spoilers right and left all over this forum. I come in with a speculative comment, and people are acting like I ruined the whole movie for them.
