Since GODZILLA V KONG is playing in 3D at theaters,, it doesnt make it mainstream.. You omit that most displays don't support DV. Nor are people asking for it. Most I know even dislike HDR, including some directors. But its there anyway. Dropping 3D had the biggest protest of any home theater A/V issue ever, but mfgrs didn't care. Now, the majority have never seen home 3D and probably never will. Instead, I guess we should anticipate DV 10+ (wouldn't surprise me) even if its not needed and no one is demanding it!
