Someone else took credit for my submissions?! - Blu-ray Forum

I submitted the details for a few films to Blu-ray.com in the Movies section (not the Blu-ray section) and got accepted but instead of saying I did it, it's giving all the credit to a member known as Mezzanine. Shouldn't I get the credit for what I have done?!

Maybe you should ask a moderator in a PM instead of creating another self-promoting thread? Maybe the other forum member submitted his information a few milliseconds before you did? Maybe the other forum member submitted more information about those films than you did and thus received the credit? Getting answers comes from asking the right person (moderator) and none of your fellow forum members posting here can possibly know why you were not given credit.

The information submitted is exactly as I had submitted it, it’s just that it’s attributed to Mezzanine instead of me. It was for some movies whose Blu-ray releases were already listed but were missing master movie data. And no, the movies were not listed in the Movies section before I had submitted them. I am the one who submitted the Ultra HD Blu-ray release of Speed, and I got all the credit for it.

Maybe his submission was a hair faster than yours? I dunno.

The problem is that you're still asking the wrong person. Try asking the right person (a moderator) for a change and for better results. Did you even reach out to Mezzanine before you created this thread to see what he might have to say? If you want to know why, ask someone on the staff because we sure the hell don't know.

What are you going to do, put the credits on your resume? I update and add movie listings all the time and I couldn't care less about being credited for it, as long as the information is correct.

BTW, Mezzanine is a Moderator so it's likely he had to tweak some of your information before it could be accepted. If you have a beef with what he did, shoot him a PM and I'm sure he could clarify it for you.
