Godzilla vs. Kong (Spoiler Discussion)

The Hollow Earth stuff... wow. An ancient (and fairly advanced, from the looks of it) Kong civilization?! I so didn't expect the film to go there, but I have to kind of admire it for throwing some crazy, out there ideas in there.

Millie Bobbie Brown literally says “Ghidorah” right after they say Monster Zero.

Yes they do. One says Monster Zero and Brown says Ghidorah right after.

Skarsgard says something like "through the gravity veil" when they are re-entering earth.

So essentially the experience of going from earth to hollow earth is identical to going from hollow earth to earth.

And since the earth is a sphere, the experience would be the same no matter what point of the globe you do it at.

FWIW, it didn't affect the sub in KotM, that is implied to have followed Godzilla through one of his Hollow Earth shortcuts to get to the underwater city.

Haven't seen KotM. If the underwater city was between earth and hollow earth then the gravity thing would not apply.

It's a little odd that the Serizawa mind control guy seems to be related to Ken Watanabe's character but is not ever mentioned (nor why one is pro-godzilla while the other is anti) but I guess in these movies they don't really care about the human characters

I’m pretty his character arc was removed after test screenings/reshoots.

I stand corrected. I must have forgot that at some point after watching the movie three days ago. I'll blame the sleep deprivation, which is making me forgetful in general.
