Our good friends over at TV Shows on DVD have the scoop on the technical specs and special features for the upcoming Blu-ray release of 'Sons of Anarchy: Season One', which is due to hit store shelves on August 18th, day-and-date with the DVD release. Coming from 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, video will be presented in 1080p AVC accompanied by a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack.

Extras for this release include:

* Commentaries on Selected Episodes
* "Head out on the Highway" Making-of Featurette
* "Counter Culture Icons"
* "Tats Incredible"
* "Easy Riders"
* "Makin' the Grade"
* Deleted Scenes
* Gag Reel

Many of these featurettes will be exclusive to the Blu-ray, but as the final special features list for the DVD have yet to be finalized, it is unknown at this time.
