This is a review thread: exactly like the one about Rambo: Last Blood. Saying a film wasn't good and giving it a low score is not trolling, it's an opinion.
You asked a question I answered it. You should probably take some time to actually read what you type before you hit Submit.

Lmao.

It can't be someone else fault if he does not enjoy a film. Did i ever question why you don't like some films? No.

Your answer is just... an opinion.

I simply did not like a film, that's it.

I remember first watching Doctor Strange in the theatre and feeling like it was missing it's second act.

He just suddenly seemed to be the best sorcerer and learned nothing about being humble as a person after being supper arrogant, crashing a car and losing the use of his hands.

It was just like "welp... that's fixed...END BAD GUY FIGHT"

Just like Stark he has not learned that lesson yet. Strange is still arrogant.

The pacing on this from about the mid way point is terrific, it never lets up until the end. In 3D this movie is really a sight to behold.

Yea but Stark at least took a hit about being a weapons manufacturer.

He didn't learn true humility, but he learned SOME humility in that he was profiting from death, and so instead tried to save lives.

Whereas I feel like Strange was in a car crash from being recklessly arrogant, lost the ability to be thought of as an awesome surgeon, and instead of learning some sort of permanent humility or life lesson, he just became an awesome wizard instead.

Right, that arc for him is not over. I expect that to continue into the sequel. Where he will be humbled. Thor was similar to Stark in that he was humbled in his first movie. I like that Strange gets to carry this forward.

Oh I'm sure he will eventually learn some humility (I mean where else do you go as a character arc for someone who think they're shit hot at everything?) but it's the reason I felt like this movie seemed to be missing an important part of his origin/journey or just a middle act.

He went from the best to the best with a hiccup in the middle that he seemed to take nothing away from.

I wouldn't mind as much if, say, the pain from his broken hands continued to come into play in his first movie as a handicap that he struggled to overcome, and that this stopped him from being an incredible sorcerer to start with so that he had to live with the internal conflict of not being the immediate best at something, which was essentially his own doing. Then they could become fixed over subsequent movies as he became the Sorcerer Supreme or something.

But it all seemed a bit "no harm, no foul".

Very solid film. I enjoyed it quite a bit. In 3D on my OLED its a freeging trip visually too. .

Yes, the changeover for the Doc's character was a tad abrupt and his relationship with Christine wasnt fleshed out much. Kasilius also could have used more backstory. Few other little nitpicks but this is a good movie and easy to rewatch. Im down for part 2.

Casting was very well done too - everyone is playing the right characters.

The 4K combo pack is available for $20 on Amazon and the 3D Blu is $31. They're both good quality, what's the reason for needing a re-release?
