Phantasm is a disjointed mess of a franchise. Universal was right to recast Mike. Baldwin is a really bad actor.

Absolutely, although I will admit I've only seen the theatrical Hellraiser movies. Event Horizon has its fair share of problems, but the acting is great, the dialogue is solid, and it's pretty damn scary. I can't say the same good things for Hellbound, Hell On Earth, or Bloodline.

(The original Hellraiser is also scary and has great performances by the three leads. Story wise, it's kind of a mess.)

I actually like most of the Hellraiser sequels, but Deader, Hellworld, and Revelations eat ass (and not in the good way).

Silent Hill was a really good movie. I really enjoyed it. Thought it was more enjoyable than the actual games.

It's not unpopular, but it bears repeating once in a while.

Alejandro Gonzales Inarritu is very easily the weakest filmmaker among the Three Amigos (Cuaron, Del Toro, Inarritu)

My favourite Hellraiser sequel is Hellbound: Hellraiser II however I got up to the 9th sequel. Haven't seen the new one. I also really liked Event Horizon.
