I'm glad Chuck and Fringe are sticking around. I thought that King Of The Hill was being picked up by ABC? As for The Simpsons, let it die already. Twenty years is more than enough.

It likely is an expensive show and the fees usually go up significantly when you get into later seasons. It also loses about 2 1/2 million viewers from Cold Case's lead-in (which could be canceled as well).
Glad to see all The Unit love on here. I've read in a few places that it may have a shot at a fifth season since that would let it hit the magic number of episodes to allow them to sell it into a better syndication deal. CBS has really crapped on this show the last couple years moving it's day and time around. Sunday's this year have been the worst with football and golf running late most times causing a 20-30 minute later start. So really for a show to move this much and still retain a solid number of viewers to be the 28th most watched show this year says something about the fan base. We can only hope CBS sees that.

I see the FX shows listed on there. Any word on Testees? I love that show! Haven't heard anything about it since the first season ended.

I have never seen a single episode of this show, and wasn't aware there where any fans, sorry, lol. Here's what I could find and I updated the front page to reflect this.

"The new FX comedy, Testees premiered October 9, 2008. It ended it's season in December 2008 and has yet to be picked up for a second season."

At the 2009 TV Critics Press Tour, Kevin Reilly told reporters that the series would end with the fourth season. Despite decreasing ratings, Reilly attributed the cancellation to creativity: "The show has just played out. You get to a point creatively where you feel all the stories have been told, and you want to end strong and not gimp out in the end of the season."

Haha I am very very surprised it seemed to last so long, I gave up watching mid way through season 2 realizing it was just rehashing the previous season and didn't even realize it was still on till about 6 weeks ago when I read it here. Glad to know that it's ending though, the actors might as well go on to something better and get back to films. Have they even made any since the show started?

Robert Knepper/T Bag has been in Transporter 3 and Hitman. Amaury Nolasco/Sucre has been in Transformers, Street Kings and Max Payne. Other than those two I don't believe anyone has made a decent movie since it started.

I will just pretend like most of those never happened, lol. But he was barely in Transformers, I meant starring roles like Blade Trinity or The Human Stain. Can't forget Lane Garrison starring in the daily soap opera "B**** Dropped Da Soap"

LOL! Well, then I guess none of them did. Actually, Robert was the villain in Transporter 3 so that counts.

Sorry it has Statham so I won't be seeing it, but in a way I saw the first one several years ago so I guess I've already seen the last 2

Good news for Castle fans.....

Quote:
ABC doesn't announce its fall schedule until May 19, but feel free to update your fall-season pickup chart to include Modern Family. The network has ordered 13 episodes of the half-hour comedy, making it the first for ABC's 2009-2010 schedule.

Modern Family got the nod after some impressive screenings of the pilot, says Variety. The show follows the lives of three very different takes on the American family; a traditional nuclear family of five, a gay couple, and an interracial couple. Ed O'Neill, of Married With Children fame, stars.

In other ABC news, Surviving Suburbia has been yanked from ABC's schedule until the summer. The move comes despite Suburbia's impressive debut numbers, but many think that's due in large part to the lingering Dancing With the Stars crowd that served as its lead-in.

So now you're asking, "How does this affect the awesome Nathan Fillion?" Well, Fillion's Castle will now move up a slot on Monday nights, and it doesn't take much to see that it is now on ABC's good side and has a much better shot at renewal. Television fact #3,427--more Nathan Fillion on television means better television. We're happy.

It's definitely won't return it was officially canceled several months ago. I loved it when I was younger, but every time I've tried to watch the last few years I just always feel let down like it isn't nearly as good as it once was.

Hey WyldeMan...

I see you have Harper's Island listed as "it's a goner". This makes it look like it got canned, but isn't it a designed 13 episode mini series?

Does CBS have any ownership in The Unit? I see Fox released the DVDs and I can't really find a good source on who produces the show. If Fox owns the show CBS gains nothing from syndication and they might decide that they'd have more to gain by putting one of their own shows in the time slot. I don't know why Fox wouldn't pick up The Unit if CBS canceled it, since it averages more viewers than most of Fox's shows and would allow them more shows for syndication.

ABC was talking about picking up King of the Hill and pairing it with the new animated Mike Judge show "The Goode Family." This obviously didn't happen since they would have had to pick the show up months ago.

Also, Ausiello has updated the status on Castle to a safe bet.

Shame it will not be coming back. It is though the only show that is missing for me this year. All of the rest the wife and I watch are sure things or already been picked up. God, I seem to have conformed to the status quo. Shoot me now.
