Shaq vs Chuck Liddell in UFC Match? Who will win? - Blu-ray Forum

Shaq is consider going UFC, he even has a MMA Trainer, and he wanted had a match vs. Chuck Liddell some day. What do you think?

Liddell would destroy Shaq on the mat.

Plus, as much as I think Liddell is one part hype one part skill, he has the one punch giant killer.

Shaq would be left on the mat hugging VHS versions of his $#!++y movies and crying like a child.

This fight wouldn't even last a minute. Someone Shaq's size who has never fought wouldn't stand a chance. It would never happen though, Shaq can talk all he wants but he's smart enough to never advance past the talk stage.

If Kimbo can be dropped like a bag of rocks by a nobody MMA fighter, then Shaq would stand less than a chance against someone like Chuck. We all know Chuck is well past his prime, but Shaq is not only a behemoth who simply wouldn't be able to match up with Chuck's speed, but he's not a trained fighter. I'm sure he's strong and could probably apply a choke hold or something, but as far as structured fighting is concerned, he wouldn't stand a chance.

to digress, what do you guys think would win in a fight? a grizzly bear or a silverback gorilla? had this argument before with my friends. i kept saying the bear would win because it has size over the gorilla, but ppl kept saying the gorilla would win because it can move quicker. the frickin bear has like a 500lb weight advantage...

this shaq/liddell thing reminds me of that argument, shaq being the bear and liddell being the gorilla.

There used to be a show where they'd try to guess the outcome of those kinds of battles. Measuring jaw strength, etc. It was pretty cool. Mountain Lion versus Wolf, etc.

Well for one anybody who follows MMA knows that Chuck is done, he fought his last fight, and is just waiting to announce retirement, but UFC president Dana White has promised everybody that Chuck is done. Besides Shaq weighs well over 320lbs and Chuck fought at 205lbs. The heaviest you can even be in the UFC is 275lbs, and Dana would never let somebody like Shaq into the octogan, he would probably just do what he did with Kimbo after dude got punked out in 12 seconds to a nobody, offer him a spot on the Ultimate Fighter, but never would he allow a walk in for a basketball player.
