Yeah, I mean, I know some of the differences between the book and movie, like how Ian "dies" in the book, but survives in the movie. Stuff like that. Yeah, I will read the book at some point. It annoys me that there are not enough hours during the day to read.

Ian does survive in the books, it's explained away in the second book that stories went around of him dying to be fake and happened on more than one occasion in his life.

Yeah but that's only because of the success of the first movie. The second book came out after the first movie, if my memory serves me right. So it's basically retconned.

Yes, just pointing out how it was explained in the second book as it's quite lazily done when you actually read it. It's like no effort was made in coming up with an explanation, epsecially when saying that these fake death stories have happened to Ian multiple times prior to Jurassic Park lol. It's actually quite funny in retrospect.
