It will be interesting to see how much this film makes considering the last one sucked, and felt random and forced within the Avengers narrative. Which is a shame as I loved her interactions with Logan and her in general back in the late 80's and early 90's. My favorite issue is her battling Rogue in Uncanny Xmen...might be my favorite Jim Lee Cover as well.

I thought CM was pretty good. Wouldn't put it in my top 10 MCU, but still did what it needed to do. I'd take an average MCU movie or any currently in the DCEU, and CBM in general

It needed to introduce a totally new character into the MCU.

It successfully did so.

Your dislike of the movie is irrelevant to its overall success.

It is all anyone will remember her for. No writer has been able to get her away from it. She now has control of her powers and was the leader of the Uncanny Avengers. None of that is important though. Put that Carol Danvers anchor on her.

Jean Grey is still more interesting than characters like Pepper Potts or Shuri.
