I suppose something like Deadly Friend will be a Halloween title.
If we surmise that the likes of Deadly Friend and Alone in the Dark are probably being left until September/October, here's some Paramount and WB titles I'd like to see:

Lady in a Cage
The Penthouse
No Way to Treat a Lady
Dragonslayer
Dead Again
Fire in the Sky
Ghost and the Darkness
Breakdown
Switchback
What Lies Beneath

The Black Zoo
Children of the Damned
Hysteria
Eye of the Devil
It!
No Blade of Grass
Crescendo
Night Watch
The Ultimate Warrior
The Pack
First Deadly Sin
Return to Salem's Lot
Midnight Ride
The Borrower
Hellbound
Surviving the Game
Nature of the Beast

What Lies Beneath would be great. I imported a German BD but it leaves a lot to be desired in the PQ dept.

No Blade Of Grass and The Ultimate Warrior are both great post-apocalyptic films. The Pack is the best dogs-attack-humans movie ever made.

What Lies Beneath is one of my most wanted titles at the moment. I’m really hoping we get it this year (and a Scream Factory Collector’s Edition would be the ideal format).

It amazes me how some mediocre 80s slasher like He Knows You're Alone gets a stacked release from Scream, yet What Lies Beneath -- a classy box office hit with two major stars and an Oscar-winning director -- continues to be MIA in this country.

What a great list of Paramount/Warner titles...couldn't agree more. There is one more Paramount title on my wish list although it is an obscure/forgotten one that I will probably have to be content with my DVD-r copy for a long while. It's THE VULTURE (1966) and was the bottom half of a double feature w/THE DEADLY BEES. It's an odd mix of horror, mystery and sci-fi genres set in England and featuring a once-in-a-lifetime cast that includes Robert Hutton, Akim Tamiroff and Broderick Crawford! Also, oddly the theatrical print was in black & white while the TV print is in color. Watching it as a kid, Crawford's death scene really freaked me out but of course, people are so jaded nowadays, audiences would probably just laugh.

While I do agree with you, one thing doesn't preclude the other. I could definitely see it coming out through the Paramount Presents line.

They could make it a Wes Craven month and release it with the NOES collection.

I had to part with most of my collection several years back when things were tough... things are better now, and I'm slowly reacquiring some of my favorites OR anything I find super-cheap. In some cases, though, I'm being pickier than I was before... but also with 4K in the mix sometimes I'm hesitant to re-pickup a thing that might be closer to a 4K release that I'd want instead.

Case in point with Shout/Scream... I picked up the 4K Prince of Darkness and will be picking up the 4K They Live soon.

There are LOTS of other Scream releases I owned before, some OOP at this point... but I'm not looking to re-acquire them at this point IF in the next few years they might be releasing new 4K versions... so it puts me in a weird place. 4K releases are easy decisions... re-buying blu-rays is a tougher call unless I find them super cheap.

I really hope most of my favorites get on the board with 4K releases sooner than later so I don't have to angst about it for long!

Not expecting a ton of titles like we are getting in July, but we should be getting August title reveals tomorrow. Can't wait to see what's coming.

Glad you're in a better spot but, man, getting rid of your collection must've been heartbreaking. Or at least tough. I can't imagine that happening to me. I think I'd rather stick everything in a storage locker for a couple of months until I got back on my feet if I saw myself in a tough financial situation. Some of this stuff is irreplaceable, like signed copies and long OOP titles. Too precious to practically give away for a few bucks.

I ended up selling a huge chunk of my collection last year while I was off work for 6 months due to covid. Since being back at work I've spent the last several months rebuilding but yeah it was really heartbreaking having to sell my collection. A lot of the titles I got rid of were OOP as well.

I can also say that I got lucky as I had sold off a ton of my Indicator LEs and they ended up having that massive OOP sale so I was able to buy nearly all of them back.
