It’s a nightmare due to rights challenges and some films not having optimal materials at the present time.

Bullet in the Head is just a masterpiece. Woo wanted to make a Lean-style epic, and he succeeded. I adore the lunatic fun of A Better Tomorrow 2 as well

Thanks for this! There are Korean/Novamedia editions of ONCE A THIEF, BULLET IN THE HEAD and THE KILLER still available.

I also have Taiwanese separate releases for THE CROSSING, they're here on the database, but my copies of Parts 1 and 2 have slipcovers. [I was in Taiwan and came across them at a small mall shop in January of that year, right after they had been released.]

And yes, we are all crying...waiting...hoping...as Buddy Holly used to sing... for more decent releases of THE KILLER and HARD BOILED, even BULLET in the western market...or any market. Heck...all his HK films could use a remaster/retrospective. [THE KILLER had one, right? It premiered in Hawaii a couple years back? But no disc...]

Kinda strange that Manhunt didn't get a US release. Would also love to see the original get a release as well.

For your information , the 116 mn work print version of hard target exist on disk. It was released on February on the French blu ray.
