What do DNR and Edge Enhancement visual artifact look like? Will I be able to notice it with a 16.4" notebook screen?

Check out the Patton review for examples of DNR. Basically fine details are missing- things look "smoothied". EE usually can be seen as "halos" around an object or person.
Honestly- don't waste time looking for them, just enjoy the movie. ![]() |

On a 16-inch screen, the only visible thing you will notice with a DNR'ed Blu-ray is the lack of grain in the image. Bad edge enhancement might show up though at that size. Here is a good site for understanding edge enhancement:
