Nice! I'm at 39 according to this site and plan on getting more as they are released. One that I am hesitant to buy is Messenger of the Death. It just doesn't sound interesting and I have heard bad things about it, including not a lot of action, if I remember correctly...

It´s boring as hell. Only the title music is great.

Even "CaboBlanco" is much better.

Posting this here as it is all Bronson.

My friend passed away last year & left me his film collection, he had a large Bronson collection & there are duplicates to mine, most are Region 2 out of the UK & Germany & they are all DVDs if anyone wants them, I can make a list & the films are FREE, just pay the postage from Canada to wherever you are.

PM or email canuckposter@yahoo.com

regards
Andy

I don't know if this is the place to ask, but given I can't think of anywhere else to go, I need to try. Does anyone here know which DVD release is the best version of Bronson's tv show "Man with a camera"? There are several boxsets with the entire series, and I wanna make sure I get the one that has both every episode, unaltered for whatever reason, in the best quality available. Thanks.

I have the third release, from Mill Creek, and it looks just fine to my eyes. Can't comment on if the episodes are cut or not but I'd hope they did a better job overall than the previous ultra-low budget releases.

I have the first release, and the quality was filmic as far as DVD goes.
Great little series.

SHOWDOWN AT BOOT HILL is terrific. It gives Bronson a real character to play and it's before he put his acting on archetype auto pilot (which ain't bad either, but it's nice to see him when he still invested talent into his performance instead of just posturing).

I ordered it in the Olive Sale at Deepdiscount recently.

That's true. However in When Hell Broke Loose his performance was much better. It must be his best dramatic performance of the '50s.

Great little series.
My favorite moment from the whole series was the one set during a heat wave, and Bronson goes into a pool hall, and Harry Dean Stanton is about to start something and Bronson grabs a cue ball, and says, in TRUE Bronson fashion, "Take one more step and I'll put this through your head!" LOL!

I blind bought the Eureka release for "The Stone Killer" recently and really enjoyed it.

I really want to check out Sean Penn's The Indian Runner. I've heard it's one of Bronson's best performances.

^The Indian Runner is very good and Bronson is solid there, but he's barely in it.

I hated The Stone Killer.

I´m a Bronson hardcore fan but "Guns for San Sebastian"?

I´m not buying it. I didn´t like the movie and no Bronson movie for me.

I would have preferred a release of "St. Ives" or "Telefon" but Warner had other plans.

Although he's the main Villain, he doesn't have much screen time. I think he has more screen time in Drum Beat for example, or at least it was well spred in that case.
