Really dug it. Hope Aja can make that Space Cobra film, after seeing this.

I really enjoyed it!

Despite the fact that it has more plot holes you could possibly count, it moves along fairly quickly and it's easy to overlook the lapses in logic.

Also glad to have enjoyed the original French-language version

Excellent film, really gets in your skin. Loved how the plot develops and she starts figuring all out.

A thoroughly enjoyable, expertly edited little flick. Rated 3 stars in the poll.

I'd be here for hours listing all of them, but start with the fact that
[Show spoiler]these "pods" are meant to take people in cryogenic sleep to distant planets and yet they're equipped..... to let the people in them make phone calls to anywhere on Earth!!!

How is that a plot hole?
[Show spoiler] This is all clearly happening in a near future and technology seems more advanced. These pods have that AI assistant and its not a stretch at all that it has some kind of internet connection to make phone calls with.
What else?

Even an Internet connection that worked anywhere on the planet would be a bit of a stretch, but one that still works such a long time after having left the Earth's atmosphere is completely ridiculous. And even some kind of "magical" communication that could reach Earth would take quite some time due to the distance, no way you'd be able to just get into a conversation with quick back-and-forth dialogue.

It's just the laws of physics.

I wasn't bothered by it, but it was a bit funny how the pods launched like 12 years ago but it just happened to be reaching the very edge of where they could get reception the hour she woke up.

It's science fiction. There's dozens of more things like that created for the movie. Im surprised it bothers you so much.

"laws of physics"? I'm guessing you don't like Star Wars...

It's just something that's presented in the movie as a normal thing. Not exactly a plot hole, is it? I'll give you the reception thing tho, but what the hell, its a movie.

Still curious about what other many plot holes you found since these things aren't that, just coincidences or things you are not willing to suspend your disbelief for.

Both of those statements are blatantly false.

Who said that it "bothers me so much?" Or that I wasn't "willing to suspend disbelief"? Only you are making such a claim. And I can tell you with complete confidence that it's absolutely false.

The many plot holes are something that I barely even mentioned in passing, you started to pick on me simply for pointing it out, and demanding more and more examples - even though I'd have forgotten all about this movie already if you didn't keep asking for further elaboration.

Of course I rolled with the movie while I was watching it, and enjoyed it quite a bit regardless. Obviously, I'm also not so naive as to believe for a moment that the far-fetched story could stand up to close scrutiny. It can't. It's not like I'm faulting it for that, there is a series of reveals that are supposed to take the viewer by surprise, and the only way it can do so is through misdirection. That's just fact, it's not a good or bad thing, it's just a storytelling choice.

If you're willing and able to stop being defensive about it and stop replying with that endless stream of defensive statements, then this whole thing will be over with.

But don't keep coming back challenging one person's accurate observations just because you are unhappy that such an observation was made to begin with. That just demonstrates it is YOU who is obsessing over the whole thing.

I was just very curious about your "more plot holes you could possibly count" comment so I was asking for you to back that up. The pods having phone lines was the only thing you came up with, something that I wouldn't count as a plot hole, which doesn't exactly proves your statement right. So I was asking for more plot holes that you noticed, out of curiosity.

There are a gazillion plot holes, but since that wasn't the main gist of my post and they didn't really keep me from having a good time watching the movie, coupled with the fact that you clearly are coming into this with an adversarial frame of mind, I really don't see any need to elaborate....

If YOU didn't notice any plot holes, then good for you and bless your heart.

I'll admit I dislike when people go like "so many plot holes" but don't elaborate. Other than that, I'm genuinley curious to hear about those plot holes, that's it. Even it it wasn't the original intent of your post, I wanna hear about them.

Just go to the "goofs" section on the movie's imdb.com page. They have a lot of them!

Does anyone have information, why I can't buy these films? who owns the rights?
Oxygen 2021 and Apostle 2018?
I would like blu-ray or 4K UHD.
