Have you played any of the Metros? I don't think it's an exaggeration to say it's one of the all-time great gaming trilogies. Although I prefer the more linear and focused nature of the first two games, the open world stuff in the third title is solid and there are still plenty of well-designed sections in the metro itself.

It's just a great series from a great developer. I was actually looking forward to seeing what they could do with a new IP but from what I read they might just keep doing more Metro, which wouldn't be the worst thing in the world but the series feels complete to me and I wish they'd branch out.

No, sadly I missed out on Metro. I'm not sure why either. It's not like I was purposely avoiding it. It's just one of those series that was always off of my radar.
