I watched Need for Speed at the weekend. Unfortunately, I'd had far too much strong Belgian and German beer beforehand that I couldn't focus on any of it and felt nauseous throughout most of the film's runtime. That will teach me. Will have to revisit. All I can recall was that the 3D seemed very competent.

Coinkidink--I also watched Need for Speed but replaced the beer with jerky. Felt Aaron Paul elevated so-so material and fun to see Michael Keaton hamming it up. Dominic Cooper seemed a little lost. Racing scenes were pretty tight. Always fun to see purty cars going fast. 3D moderate, no popouts. Enjoyable to turn the non 3D parts of the brain off for a hour and a half. Could have done without Mr Robot's buttocks though...

I watched Resident Evil: Retribution over the weekend and the 3-D is top notch just like Resident Evil: Afterlife the big difference is Afterlife is also a good movie but Retribution is just one long Video Game Advertisement that does nothing to further the storyline.

I recently ordered Resident Evil: Final Chapter in 3-D from ebay, I will post my review when it arrives.

Tonight was premier of James Cameron's Deepsea Challenge, a documentary of his private team's construction of a diving capsule designed to touch the floor of the deepest spot on Earth about 7 miles below the surface. Simply riveting. Strong and powerful 3D. This is how it is done. Supremely recommended. A feast for the eyes and mind.

I've had this on the shelf for a little while (well, a few months). Will definitely need to check it out soon.

You would have the files on a usb drive, pop it into the tv, then run the file set for x number of hours. It would play all of the colors over and over again, e.g., the whole screen green for a while, then the whole screen red for a while, etc.

I wonder if running a file set like this would knock down your burn-in? I could try to see if I still have the file set somewhere.
If you've got it yeah. I've tried things like that and didn't seem to help but no harm in giving it a try before scrapping altogether.

Watched Wizard Of Oz. Magical, felt like a kid again! Depth was very well done.

Definitely yes! DM3 is the only tricky one as it is only available overseas or on ebay. Bought mine from amazon italy...

Did a second watching of Pan today. Excellent use of 3D and great Dolby Atmos audio.

Highly recommend.

I like it too. The Batman solo battle to rescue Martha is the best exhibition of the character’s abilities ever committed to film.

I think I’m one of the few that liked Affleck’s Batman.
