Just received my limited edition THE BEASTMASTER and it is stunning! What an awesome set, I am ecstatic with the quality. I wish this kind of treatment was given to more studio films, like back when laserdiscs has such amazing boxed sets for movies like TERMINATOR 2: JUDGMENT DAY and ALIENS.

Earlier in this thread the number on the disc was being mentioned, a date or code for which batch the discs came from. Is it the numbers on the movie side on the inner rings? If so I’m going to need to purchase a magnifying glass.

It's definitely an awesome set, I was so impressed I'm gonna buy the first 10 or so (possibly more) as long as the movies are decent.

They definitely already sent you the corrected Blu Ray. If you have problems playing the UHD you will have to contact them for that replacement, they didn't replace all those in existing stock, or at least that's what they told me after I asked if I was all good.

I haven't got round to watching the UHD yet but when i checked it last week, it did have the video glitch. Ordered this back in Feb.

However, quick email to VS and they have already sent me a replacement disc.

Got mine recently too and I agree the presentation is absolutely incredible. Easily the best single-film release I own.

Now I just hope the movie lives up to the packaging

Hopefully the sales of this film will eventually get us the far superior Beast master 2 and the best of the bunch...Beast Master 3

Singer is a very good actor but he's primarily a B movie star. So I am not surprised he chose to return for the role that made him famous even if the sequels are sub par. I am sure he would much rather still do the role than see someone else do it.
