Default Pepsi Blue is back!

Pepsi Blue returns after a 17 year absence. Originally sold from August 2002 to May 2004, the beautiful blue beverage returns to store shelves in May 2021. I picked some up from a Dollar General today.

I had no idea it had existed before. I spotted it when I was at Walmart on Saturday and thought it was brand new. I got a bottle to try on the drive home and liked it.

I remember buying it quite a lot back in 2002-2004 and suddenly...it was gone. I was so disappointed. It tastes like cotton candy to me and berry, of course.

I don't remember trying it originally, but we picked up a few six packs since it has come back. It's not bad really. Not sure I could drink more than one every couple of days, but I like it

I got a bit of a bubble game aftertaste from it.

Maybe if I'm lucky in 15 years or so Pepsi will bring back 1893. I loved that.

What I don't understand is they give us that nasty Mango Pepsi as a permanent flavor, but Pepsi Blue is limited time. WTF?

I understand Wild Cherry Pepsi (awesome!), but Mango?

It's irritating when they bring an old favorite back, but for a limited time only. (Crystal Clear Pepsi, Pepsi Blue, New Coke) If it sells, keep it in the permanent rotation.

I apologize for what I said about Mango Pepsi. It's awesome, but Pepsi Blue is still my favorite.

They should bring Pepsi Fire back.

Pepsi blue is terrible. I remember them trying to give it away at my college campus years ago. Only thing it was good for was mixing with some vodka.

What does this taste like, i never had the blue. I had clear way back in the late 80's early 90's and remember it tasting like a scuff 7up, not very good.

I checked into how long they last and supposedly, most soft drinks will hold their carbonation/fizz 6-9 months after the best by date. After that, they will gradually lose carbonation, but are still supposedly safe to drink provided they are kept in cool temperatures away from excessive light/heat. There's a video from 2014 on Youtube of a guy drinking an original Crystal Pepsi from 1992-1993. He vomits near the end, but he's still around.

It's a berry flavored cola and some people have said it tastes like either blueberries or raspberries. Others have said cotton candy and bubble gum. It's definitely different than a regular Pepsi.

Bought a bottle to try and not a fan. Very ugly aftertaste.
