I never saw a big difference from Edge to 3g. I actually own both.
![]() Plus you can't really tell when you web browse on the 3g iphone because the iphone carries full html anyways. So it is gonna be slow on a phone, regardless whether you have 3g or Edge. |

N97 isn't out yet. Speed difference for 3G to AT&T depends on AT&T support. 3G has been... sporadic... in many areas but very good in others. In the good areas, there isn't really a contest... but T-Mobile is far more flexibile in their variety of data plans

Right. Some portions of AT&T 3G (NYC area, etc) are 850, but mostly 1900. That's why the Nokia N97 NAM model has HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100 but the euro model is: HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100.
T-mobile went completely wacky with their own 1700 and 2100 freqs. |

Both my brothers have one. They like it, but I think secretly, they don't. Especially since I own an iPhone 3G. I have played with the Storm and I don't like it. It's a business class phone mostly. I didn't want a business phone. I wanted something fun and sleek. I also hated the click screen. That is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. I felt like an idiot using it the first few times because I was pressing the letters on the touch keyboard but nothing was happening. I was informed to CLICK the screen for it to register. No thanks.

One of my coworkers has one and doesn't seem overly fond of it. QC seems to be the biggest problem. The buddy who likes it exchanged the first one cause it's screen would wobble or something like that. |
