Doubtful. All Lions Gate re-issues of Echo Bridge offerings so far have been identical disc content. Maybe this one breaks that trend, but I wouldn't bet on it. Plus it's been on a couple/few multi-packs from EB, and all say 1.78.

I was going to ask this. I knew they weren't restoring extras, but OAR might've been something they'd fix. So, Lionsgate's Halloween H20 was still cropped?

The best version would appear to be the French/German release by Studio Canal - I would assume the disc is however region B locked.
Audio is 5.1 DTS lossless , aspect ratio 2 35 1 and disc contains both directors and theatrical cut (although not a lot of difference in these) there was another release in France from another distributor but the subtitles are forced -the German/French subtitles can be disabled on the Studio Canal release which also has decent picture quality. if you are region free the Studio Canal disc is worth importing. Studio Canal in France/Germany also released a decent Copland blu ray which also contains both cuts of that movie and removable subtitles. |

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but i'm thinking of getting the german blu-ray from studio canal, and I have a question about the subtitles(or lack thereof). If I remember correctly there is at least one scene where joaquin pheonix's character speaks spanish and i'm assuming those scenes are not subtitled on the german blu. It's been a while since the last time I saw this movie. Can anyone who previously owned any of the dvd releases or still owns one comment on whether or not those scenes were even subtitled originally?

Is the Soderbergh commentary track from the DVD on any of the BD releases?

The disc included in the Australian "After Dark: Neo-Noir Cinema Vol.2" Box Set has both cuts, the Soderbergh commentary, a second commentary with Gray, 8 deleted scenes and numerous featurettes.
