I had the same issue. I got a newer player and don't have any issues with their disc. The member may need to update their firmware maybe?

Bought a Sorny and never had a problem with it. Didn’t work right outta the box.

Back to the wishlist you go. I wish sale prices would last a month sometimes.
I love The Mangler. Weird as all sorts even by horror standards and just a really fun film. I Definitely give that one a thumbs up. Hopefully it hit's your target price in the upcoming Scream Factory sale.

Any way of knowing how many copies of "Motel Hell - Limited Edition Steelbook" they have left? Seems like most other retailers are sold out.

So why not a 4k for Brotherhood of the Wolf?

And look, it’s time for a 4k of Branagh’s Henry V!

I'm a big fan of the movie, as well. I picked up a blu ray copy from Amazon on the $17.99 sale a few weeks ago. The movie has some flaws (often with the acting, to be honest), but the climax is classic Hooper. The set design as the leads escape into the cellars underneath the factory is incredible, on par with the Sawyer house, the fun house and the Marsden house as another great Tobe Hooper interior space.

Does anybody know, why on some of the newer Collectors Editions almost none of the actual special features are listed on the backcover anymore? For example the new King Kong 76 release. They only mention Trailers and Radiospots, nothing else. If you mention only a few selected special features, maybe because of space issues, why do you mention only the most basic special features and not something a bit fancier?

It's not just their newer releases. This has been a consistent issue from the very beginning of Scream Factory. As far as why - no clue.

I have almost all of their Collectors Edition Releases; have to check, seemed to me this was a current change, but maybe it‘s happened already in the past and I just haven’t noticed.

I'm receiving Psycho II tomorrow and never seen it. Seen the original a million times. Supposedly the sequel (1983) is good.

The first one I really noticed this on was My Bloody Valentine, but it does go further back than that.

I think it probably has to do with Scream finalizing the cover art before they finalize the special features. Cart before the horse, if you ask me.

I picked it up too (but not the SF version)! Largely because it was co-written by Tom Holland (Fright Night), and I've heard good things.

I remember taking a chance and seeing it in the theater, but that's about all I remember of it.

Never saw Wolf and had no marriage towards the theatrical versus unrated or any of the commentaries from other discs. But that being said this package is quite disappointing and feels lackluster

Any chance SF will release this along with 3 and 4 on UHD?

I'm hoping King Kong Lives is in Screams future plans. Not a good movie but it's my first Kong film seen on the big screen.

They released the '76 fiasco, so they clearly have zero prejudice against putting out bad Kong movies.

From what I understand, cover art often goes to print well in advance of the final disc-- and if certain bonus feature participants don't commit until late in the game or if a label is holding out hope for a last second thing on their wishlist to surprisingly come through for them, they don't want to run the risk of putting it on the artwork and then have it fall through. Probably an even stronger possibility of tricky situations like this over the past year and a half, I'd guess. On the plus side, better to be missing some bonus feature text on the back cover than to lock the disc solely because the art has already gone to print--or to list a bonus feature that doesn't appear on the disc (something that has happened recently.)

Its a shockingly good sequel, something you wouldnt usually expect from a horror sequel to a bonafide classic with a 20 year gap.
