Anyway i'll be buying texas Chainsaw Massacre. i love that movie. the audio sounds good on the DVD i have. the dolby digital EX sounds better than the DTS ES track

I'll get Freddy vs. Jason for sure. I have almost ordered it from Canada several times I'm glad I waited now, I would rather have the US release. I may pick up a few of these other movies when the price drops.

I was really hoping that Warner would use some of the extra's on the Universal R2 release of Creepshow but then I just read this on Facebook:

"Michael Felsher is furious that CREEPSHOW's upcoming debut on BluRay will not feature ANY of the materials he created for the UK release. Why? The releasing studio here didn't even care to look into it."

Oh well as long as the print is nice I'll still pick it up.

Studios cannot only release high-profile ultra-popular titles. Those titles are spaced out for optimal marketing and sell through, and less popular titles fill the gaps. Titles like the 10 announced today should all be released eventually (both for studio profit reasons, and because even the most unpopular movies have fans who will want them), so when do you think they should be released? Surely you don't think they should all come at the end, after the studios have exhausted all the popular movies? Some may not like a single title in this batch of 10, but surely there is some other unpopular movie that they will be excited about and everyone else will shake their head in confusion. That's how it goes.

So all the outrage every time less popular titles are released is really not necessary. Don't worry, Heat and LOTR and whatever else are all coming, and these budget releases don't slow them down. If these 10 were never released, Heat would still be just as far away. So let the people that enjoy them have a little moment, and we'll all refrain from raining on your parade when Heat is announced.

Dude, you didn't need to write a novel. I understand marketing. I'm just saying Warner has hinted at 'Heat' for as long as I've been Blu (since PS3 launch) and yet we haven't seen any release date.

Finally! I've been waiting for this announcement since I started my blu collection. The cinematography itself makes this probably the most beautiful horror film you will ever see. I'm sure the PQ will be excellent on blu, here's hoping WB doesn't make this transfer soft.

Looks like most of the special features from the Special Edition DVD will be included.

Well I made my own thread for TCM03 since i just found out today and it deserves its own thread.

I will also purchase "Snakes On A Plane" & "Freddy vs. Jason" two very worthy films of upgrading.
