There have been a number of films due from VS that never actually made it out for whatever reason.
Vinegar dropped Terminal Island? Did they drop all of Stephanie Rothman’s movies?

I know Terminal Island was soft-announced several years ago (2017? 2018?) and since then VS has eliminated their Sexploitation Series line and de-emphasized their non-horror releases, so although it hasn't been 'canceled' I don't think they think it fits their current 'brand', or whatever, any longer. I LOVE VS, but I think there are still plenty of these releases that could make money; maybe they won't sell out as fast as random-early-90s-horror-movie will, but could still be a decent seller. If FCE's brand is adventurous and intelligent cinema, some of these titles might be more receptive to the typical FCEHead than the typical newer VS fan.

I’m gonna keep hoping that they will just do a Stephanie Rothman director’s set. Or someone does.

Also, sorry for the double post. I ordered Walking the Edge during the partner’s sale. Is that with the corrected disc?

Same here! I have the Code Red releases, plus the Shout! DVD set with Velvet Vampire (though I missed out on their Blu-ray) but I'd gladly re-buy them if there's a significant upgrade, or honestly even just to get The Student Nurses (presuming there aren't rights issues).

I wasn’t aware of her films until after they all went out of print. So this wait for a possible release is pretty tough!

I saw a straight-from-the-lab 35mm answer print of Coonskin a number of years back. The negative must be in perfect shape, as it looked gorgeous

I'm not sure they got those in yet. This is what is keeping me from ordering until it is all set

Surely this has already been suggested, but what about the extraordinary Chuck & Buck?

Love all the suggestions for future acquisitions, but, again, please understand that I can't really say much more publicly than the blanket: "we'll consider it." So, even if I don't respond directly to each one, know that it's been read and processed.

With that out of the way: discussion of films we actually have released or have announced as coming soon, is most welcome.

You can order now from VS and you will automatically get the replacement disc when they are ready and shipping.

My understanding was that said negative has gone missing / been misplaced.

First known appearance of the term "FCEHead."

I’ve picked up all the FCE titles thus far, but just finally got around to watching the ones I’ve had for a bit.

I viewed Alphabet City last night and it was great. What a stylish cool film!

Any chance FCE could tackle something like Monte Hellman’s Cockfighter?

That one has been OOP for years now.

Cockfighter is a great suggestion! I literally just watched this the other night (it's free on Tubi) and thought it would be a perfect FCE. Adding another Harry Dean Stanton movie is never a bad thing!
