Nice! Thanks for that. I'm still gonna wait to see how the transfer turns out and a sale but that's good to know. I only need the first film, thankfully.

Quick question, but does Scream charge you at the time of check out for a pre-order or when it ships?

I'm going to preorder III and I'm open to 1 and II if the transfers are good when reviewed.

I still can't understand how Shout let these covers get through the approval process though.

They didn't for the latest Prince of Darkness 4K but it was already the original art.

They're certainly better than some of their older ones as I pointed out earlier. Just look at their cover for From Beyond. Or Day of the Dead.

And I'll take these over photoshopped floating heads like we usually see from the big studios. At least it's original art and it's consistent, and contains the original fonts for each film.

I get the dislike for them but they could be much worse. They're worse than some of their best ones, but better than some of their worse. And we'll have reversible art anyways. I actually like the covers for 3 and 4.

The abundance of leaves is definitely odd.

Got my orders in for all five at amazon just now but I am not sure I will keep it outside of the first film.

I'll be keeping my 1-3 pre-orders most likely, but whether I keep 4 and 5 will likely depend on how low the price drops before release.
