Australia Austin Powers, where are you?

The status of the Aussie boxset on Ezydvd still says Distribution Delay ever since it was supposed to be released in januar. Is there any news on this boxset??? I would love to import this supposed to be uncut set.

I emailed Roadshow on this months ago and they had told me the boxset was still coming out but was being delayed indefinately.

It's not for sale on Ezy anymore. Seems there won't be a version with the EU cut for a while.

UK's getting IMOM www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B002BD9DQG

I only like the first film of the series so it's a definite buy. Since it's Optimum I'd assume they'll be using all European elements.

International Man of Mystery finally released in Aus.

But the question still remains, will our version be cut?

JB states 89 minutes which would suggest it is.

I've got it on pre-order, it's late, it still hasn't come in yet, which seems to be a trend with Umbrella/Shock titles and my local JB store over the last few months. They are regularly not arriving on or before the release date. Did anyone see it on shelves last week?

I remember seeing it on shelves last week and it's part of the 2 for $30 sale IIRC.

I wouldn't trust Ezydvd's site for spec accuracy (or JB's website), if they had to give me a dollar for each wrong bit of info on their site they would be out of business.

If anyone buys the local release could they please comment on the picture quality aswell as the run time. I bought the UK version due to it being the longer international version but found the picture quality so poor I gave it away.

I've got both the UK and U.S discs, so when I get the local disc, I will check it against them.
