Received Stingray today (technically yesterday at this point). Gave it a rare immediate watch.

It's a blast. Basically promises one thing and delivers exactly that from nearly start to finish.

It does come to screeching halt for about ten minutes around an hour in while the car gets painted. And the ending keeps going on and on long after it should have just finished. Minor complaints as otherwise it's nearly perfect for my tastes.

An absolute delight. I've been stuck in a rut of generally entertaining but mostly mediocre/forgettable movies lately, and this was exactly what I needed to break that up.

The slipcover design is tops too. Just the perfect embossing and selective gloss to make the car really pop off the matte background.

Probably my favorite Dark Force release to date.

In the 70s and most of the 80s, the word jailbait was not quite as taboo as it might be since then. There were movies with Jailbait in.the title, such as Jailbait Babysitter. Jailbait was the topic of numerous rock songs. Both Motorhead and Ted Nugent released songs entitled Jailbait. Wendy O Williams performed the song Jailbait, by Motorhead, when Lemmy joined her on stage. The word was very loosely used. Often merely referring to people who looked like they could be underage.

Maybe so but "looks like a teenager" really doesn't make it feel erotic it makes it feel sleazy and gross, because a teenager is only an adult for two years and people can take advantage of them

Great to see dark force getting into adult titles. I'd love to get the Zebedy Colt classic Devil Inside Her (1977). I doubt "Vanilla Syndrome" (as my wife likes to call them) will put it out on blu-ray.

Got a shipping notification yesterday afternoon for what I believe is Stingray. Doesn’t say the title, just the price, but it’s the same price as that so I’ve gotta assume that that’s what it is.

My friend Sage had a Zebedy COLT record LP.

His mom threw it away when he died.

Most people don't understand, it's not that Dave is into adult titles or likely any title for that matter, he takes every film Bill offers him whether he like them or not.

That's kinda the point of Dark Force releasing it. You also have to realise the 70s were way different about sex and teens than today.
