The weekends here are just not the same without Anthony P's contributions. Hopefully, he will be able to come out and play with us again soon.

If I ever disappear it's because I found religion.

If I ever disappear it’s because film is no more. Permanent vacation.

You'll be like the twilight zone guy who survived the apocalypse with all the time in the world to read books but breaks his glasses.

I noticed that the movie Big Ass Spider! is free to watch with ads on Vudu. Brian Orndorf gives the movie a 4 out of 5 in his review. Now we know what kind of movie he likes...

This looks like the type of movie made to check out on streaming first, but for those who want to buy sight unseen the blu-ray is available in a far cheaper DVD combo pack at Amazon for $11.19.

Should have been made in 3D, but I have to watch this in the same way that people have to watch a train wreck. If I more than I it will have been worth it...even with ads.

He gave Snake Eyes a 5 out of 10. Of course, I have noticed that he rates a lot of movies poorly.

I will definitely watch Old to judge for myself, but probably not Snake Eyes. I'm not the biggest fan of the G.I. Joe movies.
I would agree with the Snake Eyes review. i was very disappointed. Some of the scenes were beautiful to look at but the action/fight scenes were edited to death so that you couldn't even tell what was going on. If you're going to make a movie that revolves around ninjas fighting with swords perhaps you should take the time to train the actors and choreograph the fights rather than depend on quick edits to mask everything.

The script was pretty weak and the characterization practically non-existent as well. I liked the actors well enough and really liked Samara Weaving as Scarlett and whoever played Baroness, but overall a huge disappointment considering the trailers looked pretty good in my opinion.

I find it incredibly hard to believe that that film is worth 5/10 and Old is only 2/10. That is a laughably bad review to me. So much so, I’m not going to bother with any more reviews from that guy.

Thanks for that, saved us a wasted rent. At the first sign of tilt, pan, zoom, shake, and rapid cuts gets a movie ejected most of the time.

I just saw the Kino announcement that they will be releasing To Live and Die In L.A. with a brand new 4K Dolby Vision transfer. Kino obliterating the competition with these new release announcements.
