At least we know which 2 movies they are excluding. And yet again, more stacked discs. Scanvo must really hate discs.

Im pretty sure Paramount still has the full video rights to 1-8, and that has been the case for almost all the time they sold the Jason character to New Line. (except for a year or two in which they licensed out several of their titles to Warner Bros.)

Individual Steelbooks, new 8-film collection set, 8-film Steelbook; it's all a bunch of redundant crap. Just keep the previous ~$20 8-film set in print as a cheap alternative to the SF. Agreed, it does seem odd for Paramount to be doing this while the Shout set is still in print. I think everybody was surprised when that Paramount amaray set was announced a month ago. But it's a great thing for me because I love steelbooks, I hate the New Line films, and I dislike the Shout artwork.

It's starting to grow on me, although I still think it is very imperfect and I wish they had not used Roy on the back. But I think a lot of people would agree that is at least a more improved version of part 8 Jason on the cover. Jason doesnt look slimy and his mask isnt yellow. Still hate the inside art though.
