If this has the unrated cut, then I'd nab it as a comparison piece. I own every remake to my favorite films... this one wasn't terrible, just average... though the unrated only benefitted.

So glad this is finally coming out, we've had pretty much every other horror remake. I'm a huge fan of the original but I really like this too.

Might be worth mentioning that the listing on amazon shows the running time as 1h 39m which is the same as the PG-13 cut in the USA and not 1h 43m like the Unrated version but the UK DVD with PAL speedup meant the unrated cut ran at 1h 39m

Guess we won't know for sure until it gets released

Isn't this a first anywhere? As far as I know this has never had a blu ray release anywhere prior to now.

This is listed as 103 minutes on the back, so which cut is that? I got my copy yesterday and will watch this week, did a quick skip through yesterday and PQ looks very nice. This also appears to have all the DVD extras.

103 mins would indicate that it's the unrated cut
