First time I've ever gave a damn for the franchise since seeing the original on VHS back in the early 00s

I really liked the original but absolutely hated the second (to the point it affected my opinion of the overall series until recently), and outside of making the logo the "Destroyer" of the film, would rather not think of the reboot ever again. This one looks wayyyy better - the Super 8/Steven Spielberg tone is helping immensely.

Yeah, I'll pass. It doesn't look like a Ghostbusters movie (so, credit for not just regurgitating the originals) or a movie I am interested in.

To me, it's desperate and sad when a beloved movie (and TV series) gets a follow-up decades later.

Outside of the movie, I'm excited for the Hasbro action figure line which is said to be to scale with the classic Real Ghostbusters figures and can use all the vehicles and equipment!

They didn't need to make this, sure. But when the 2016 reboot released, something like this was needed to wash the stink off the franchise. Even if we never see another film in the original continuity at least this will be the last Ghostbusters movie people see in theaters as opposed to a half-assed reboot.

We got the reboot which I still haven't seen but we also had the Video game which filled that Ghostbuster 3 need for me. Not 100% sure I'll see this, might rent it

I swear they are ruining every movie by putting kids in them. Just give me a Ghostbusters without kids. They clearly didn’t learn from the remake hopefully this fails at the box office

This looks great for a true follow up to the original two films and will obviously have the expected cameos.

I love how they used the same pink ghost trails that they used in the 1st film. If they use the song " Magic " by Mick Smiley when the ghosts are released, I'm probably gonna tear up.

I'm in!
