I have my doubts that lambs or sheep can spook me much, either. I agree that the movie looks trippy weird and that alone is more than enough to make me want to see it.

I think Satan will be involved. This might be a creature feature deep down. I don't know if you heard the demonic gurgle toward the end of the trailer. Also, the whole half-beast thing screams religious allegory. IMO

I have a feeling they're gonna play the trailer in front of Green Knight.

The made them do it...whatever "it" turns out to be.

It looks bizarre and I do like strange movies.

There is nothing new with any players on the market that would get one excited. Reavon brand is a made by a Chinese company that been making the Zappiti Media players for awhile. its another MTK SoC based product that they done their own thing, and has little write ups, and way less distribution than what Oppo had around the world. A tad more expensive $549 vs $799, and $1299 vs $1699, but the cheaper model is digital only and the pricy model is absolute crap for audiophile features. There is absolutely no extra thinking about cramming in quality and features with either of these two. I still have Oppo Tech service local so just a short drive to get anything taken care of by their staff.

A Quiet Place II was awesome with amazing sound track.

I'm so glad I waited to see and hear it on disc instead of watching the streaming version. It's fair to say that sound is like another character in this story.

I’m hoping next year sees a cinema recovery with numbers closer to 2019. It’s a awful time in every sense.

I'm hoping my local theater is replaced not rebuilt.

I think the best thing about having a home theater is being home and having control of who is watching, what is playing, when it's playing, and how dirty the floor is.

Some at AVS are saying the Reavon is the same as GIEC player (here). There are more players available from AliExpress here.

I have already been to the cinema 8 times. It needs to survive.

Agreed. I have been at least that many times since they re-opened and am planning to go twice this weekend. I use AMC Stubs A-List so I can see 3 movies a week for $21.95 per month. I would be crazy not to use it.

I had to laugh when I noticed that your first link to the Geic G5800 4K disc player includes a $1 off coupon for an item with a $1398.75 price tag. Anyone wanting to use that great coupon might want to act fast.

I had never heard of this brand before; anyone here know anything about it?

I'm encouraged that you liked it that much; it fuels my anticipation of watching it. Barring any surprises, I plan to have my creature double feature tonight. I think watching both parts back to back will be loads o' fun.

Such gluttony, actors want to renegotiate many of their talent contracts that, were tied to box-office performance. So its not during normal times yet and they still want their anticipated cut of billion dollar theater sales. Sorry no 50 million cut for you.

She is right. The theatrical model has to be protected at all costs.

Disney's raking in $400-500 million a month from D+ and the Premier Access revenue for Black Widow opening weekend was $60 million. If Disney's gonna renege on the theatrical exclusivity clause of the contract and do simultaneous first run on theaters and streaming, then talent should be entitled to a cut of D+ revenue based on what their box office cut would've been (in terms of percentage).

The only thing that is negotiable is adding the addition of like percentage of premiere access revenue against Black Widow. There is nothing else about D+ that she as a actor is entitled to as a hybrid box office sales model.

Arguments about reneging on the theatrical exclusivity clause are moot with COVID 19 scenario. Likely her contract was written well before Covid 19 started and theaters shut down. I am sure Disney will amend the contract for what I mentioned but nothing more.
