Default Official Terminator Thread

They had an advanced screening of the movie at Kirtland Air Force Base were most of the movie was filmed. I really enjoyed the movie it was definitely better then the 3rd one. I don’t want to give much unless you guys want me to I will be willing to tell you whatever you want. Oh yah I forgot to mention that McG was there fallowing the credits for a Q&A session. They said there was a special guest with him. I was thinking it was going to be Sam Worthington or ever Common but when they announced Christian Bale I was like no way but sure enough it was him. I thought it was awesome that he took time out of his schedule to come to our screening and answer some questions from his fans. I highly recommend it to ever one.

Where are the pictures, etc?

Eventhough you cannot take a photo of the film, you could clearly have your picture taken with Christian Bale or the director.

Cool! I hope you enjoyed it. Although I'm not pumped about it coming out, I'll definitely see it after the crowds have died down.

P.S. How big of a douche do you have to be to refer to yourself as "McG"?

I know exactly what you mean but if McGinty does what we all hope for him to do then I'm gonna stop making fun of his name

LOL

I'm sorry, but every movie with Common has been either garbage or boring as hell. He's cinematic cancer. Did he have a big role in this movie?

^^Wanted and American Gangster were good. He's not the best actor, but I don't believe he is trying to be.

Maybe Street Kings and Smokin Aces might have not been that good, but you can't blame him.

I would say Samuel L. Jackson is cinematic cancer.

it's possible that this turns out to be the "Alien: Resurrection" of the series... ....even the names sound similar

And my mom used to call me Petey, but you don't see it on my business card. The only time you would is if I were trying to draw attention or if I were trying to create some sort of public persona mystique. Thus, "McG" is being a bit douchy when going out of his way to make sure his nickname is what we all know him by.

Sam Jackson is an infinitely better actor than Common. I love hip hop, but rappers dont belong in movies. As least Ice Cube has the decency to make kiddie movies nowadays, and Ice T has resigned himself to TV.

American Gangster was boring to me. Wanted....meh.

but thats another thread.

Honestly Commons part wasn’t that big of a part Moon Bloodgood had a bigger part then he did. As for rating them I still Think T2 was the best and then thins then the first one then then 3rd one

I find your claim to be highly dubious, but I'll reserve judgement until I see it for myself. Who knows? You could be right.

I dont think it will be better than T1 but hey if it is then power to McG! I felt the same way about Tim Burton's Batman and then got floored by Nolan's revision. Now given that this is not a revamp one can argue that there cannot be a comparison apart from the simple appreciation when it comes to movie watching and its entertainment value. In the end I guess its all one's opinion of it isnt it?
